About Madelyn

Approach to Care

Madelyn brings over a decade of experience in both medical and educational speech-language pathology. She has worked with children and adults across diverse clinical settings, including a Level 1 Trauma Center and an Advanced Comprehensive Stroke Center.

She received her graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Pittsburgh—home to one of the nation’s top-ranked programs. In 2025, Pitt’s SLP program was ranked #5 in the United States by U.S. News & World Report. During her training, Madelyn studied under some of the field’s most respected and internationally recognized speech-language pathologists.

Madelyn has been practicing professionally since 2013. She is a registered affiliate of the National Aphasia Association and has completed advanced, hands-on training in Childhood Apraxia of Speech. She is also a certified provider of Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT).

Approach to Care

For Madelyn, speech-language pathology is more than a profession—it’s a calling. She is deeply committed to delivering exceptional, individualized care by collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams, maintaining open communication with other providers, and designing therapy that aligns with each patient’s unique goals, values, and concerns.

While her clinical expertise is marked by excellence, it is her compassion and genuine connection with patients that truly distinguish her. Madelyn approaches each individual as she would a member of her own family, building trust and fostering a supportive, respectful therapeutic environment.

To gain deeper insight into Madelyn’s perspective on clinical care, you can read her feature article published by the National Aphasia Association.

In 2025, Madelyn combined her passion for advocacy and community by running the Big Sur International Marathon to raise funds for the Organization for Autism Research. Her dedication was highlighted in a blog post by the organization, where she shared what being a fundraiser—and a Speech-Language Pathologist—means to her.
